I, xxxWrite back. She signs it xxx. Break the seal First letter

Sealed in Wax

A seal is a promise that no one but the addressee has read the page. We try to keep your letters under one.

What we keep

  • Your account record: an email and a hashed password, first name, birthday, gender, plus whatever you add to your desk.
  • Your letters, and the notes each correspondent keeps so she can quote you back.
  • A session cookie, and another that shows you opened the envelope for adults.
  • Payment records, meaning the sum and the reference. We take no card, so no card number reaches us.
  • Ordinary server logs, held briefly for security.

What it is for

It runs the correspondence, applies the etiquette and keeps the post office open. Your messages go through a model we host or one hosted by a provider tied to the same job, and automated safety checks read them. Letters are never sold, and advertisers see none.

Counting readers

A plain counter shows how many people called and from which country. It cannot open a letter.

Your controls

From a chat's menu you may change her notes on you, save a copy of the letters or clear them. To close the account and everything in it, email the letters desk from your registered address. If your country's law gives you more than this, name it and we will grant it.
